Why use ground screws instead of ground nails?
Quickly assembled
Ground screws can be quickly and easily screwed into the ground after pre-drilling as recommended. Disassembly takes only a few seconds – simply unscrew them.
Ground anchors, on the other hand, are driven in slowly and laboriously, which is time-consuming and can easily lead to shifts.
In challenging soils
Thanks to the larger contact area of the thread, earth screws offer high stability and reliable load-bearing capacity even in difficult soil.
Compared to nails, they hold better even in soft soils – ideal for fence, foundation and temporary fixings.
Reusable
Ground screws can be removed without leaving any residue and reused elsewhere – sustainable, flexible, soil-friendly and above all cost-saving.
In contrast, ground anchors often have to be laboriously pulled out or partially dug out with additional equipment, which damages the soil and reduces their reusability.

High-strength aluminum
The SLOG-X series ground screws are made of high-strength, high-quality cast aluminum from German production. They undergo a special hardening process and are therefore designed for high tensile loads.
Our products are made from weather-resistant material and are therefore reusable multiple times. After use, the SLOG-X can be unscrewed without leaving any residue and poses no burden on nature or future generations.
The low weight of the SLOG-X protects the employee's health and allows for a load of numerous ground screws on the transport vehicle.
Required tools
No special tools or heavy machinery are required. Using standard (cordless) impact wrenches, the ground screws can usually be easily screwed into and out of the ground by one person.
For the most demanding applications, DEA-TEC recommends using Milwaukee's powerful 18-volt technology. The SLOG-X earth screws require high torque for installation, so the impact wrench should have a minimum torque of 1,000 Nm. For screw lengths of 600 mm or more, 2,000 Nm is recommended. Only sockets approved for high loads should be used.
Safe use
Each packaging unit contains detailed safety instructions that must be carefully read and followed before using our SLOG-X ground screws.
It is essential to ensure that no electrical, gas, or water lines run in the ground area of the chosen fixing point. This also applies when pre-drilling in firmer or highly compacted soils.
