Securing a hunting blind with ground screws and guy ropes

Hochsitzsicherung mit Erdschrauben und Abspannseilen

A hunting blind in the forest is often exposed to wind, weather and uneven ground – especially with top-heavy constructions, additional stability can be crucial.
DEA-TEC 's 800 mm or 900 mm long earth screws allow for quick, uncomplicated and reliable securing.

The screws are driven directly into the loose forest soil using a powerful cordless impact wrench – depending on the soil conditions, even without pre-drilling. The hunting blind can then be secured with 2–4 standard guy ropes via the eye bolts on the screw heads.

This creates a stable connection to the ground, effectively preventing the hunting blind from tipping over or slipping – even in strong winds.

Advantages of this solution:

  • Quick securing: Assembled in minutes – without foundation or excavation.

  • High stability: Secure hold even on uneven forest floors and under wind load.

  • Easy to use: Installation with a cordless screwdriver, no special tools required.

  • Removable without leaving residue: Simply unscrew the ground screws after use.

A robust, flexible and residue-free solution – perfect for the temporary securing of hunting blinds in forestry and hunting areas.
