A stable anchoring system is crucial at campsites – especially if the awning is intended to withstand wind and weather for extended periods. In this project, a camping awning was permanently secured using our ES470-SW27 ground screws (with M10 threaded holes). The soft grassy ground of the campsite posed no problem: the screws ensure a firm hold, even in heavy rain or stormy weather.
Any type of tension strap bracket can be attached to the threaded hole – flexible, secure, and easy to use. This ensures the awning remains reliably taut, but can be quickly loosened and reattached when needed (e.g., for mowing the lawn).
